_ISCB Student Council Symposium 2013: late call for posters and Genome
Canada travel fellowships_

*The ISCB Student Council Symposium will be held on July 19th (directly
preceding ISMB/ECCB 2013) in Berlin, Germany.*

We are pleased to announce a late call for poster submissions, opening on
May 16 and with a deadline on May 29 (in a timezone of your choice).

Our sponsor Genome Canada is offering travel fellowships for
students from Canadian institutions. If you're a student or young
researcher based in Canada, don't miss this opportunity to get some
financial support to assist the Student Council Symposium and ISMB/ECCB!

_About SCS 2013_

The Student Council Symposium is a forum for students, post docs, and
young researchers in the fields of Computational Biology and
Bioinformatics. Participants have the opportunity to present their work to
an international audience, build a network within the computational
biology community and develop important soft skills in an environment that
fosters exchange of ideas and knowledge. This year's keynote
addresses will be delivered by Dr. Alex Bateman, from the EBI, Prof.
Satoru Miyano, from the University of Tokyo, and Dr. Gonçalo Abecasis from
the University of Michigan (winner of the ISCB Overton Prize 2013).
