A thorough analysis on how amino acid replacements related to Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2 can affect intermolecular interactions between Spike protein and human antibodies, as well as the interactions with ACE2 human receptor.
We present an extended version of Susceptible-Exposed-Infected-Removed (SEIR) model in which the population age and the undetected individuals are taken into account. Our model is an effective tool useful to investigate different scenarios and to inform policy makers about the potential impact of different control strategies.
