A full-time post-doctoral position is available in the lab of Molecular Cardiology at Policlinico San Donato-IRCCS, Milan, Italy.

The goal of the project is investigating the regulation and functional role of micro RNA in cardiovascular physio-pathology. Particular attention will be devoted to understanding myocardial response to ischemia and micro RNA role in heart failure.

Proficiency in the use of currently existing bioinformatic programs and tools for microarray analysis, DNA sequence analysis, knowledge of public genomic databases, gene expression analysis, and association study analysis is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate should have an advanced level of independence, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and at least 2 publications as first author. Good Italian language skills are necessary.
Salary is proportional to experience and to the publication record.
