BIOINFORMATICS PhD/Postdoc on EPIGENOMICS (ULB, Brussels) 

Job description: 

PhD and Postdoctoral positions are available for successful candidates to join a dynamic team at the Laboratory of Cancer Epigenetics (Université Libre de Bruxelles). Our group is interested to study transcriptomics and epigenomics in health and diseases. 

The candidates, which will work within a bioinformatic environment, will tackle integrative analysis of higth-throughput transcriptomics and epigenomics data sets generated using cutting edge next-generation sequencing plateforms (available in host lab). Both fundamental and clinical aspects of human diseases will be addressed.

Postdoc position is funded for 2 years, with possible extension. Screening of applications begins immediately and continues until an outstanding candidate is selected.

Profile : 

Applicants should demonstrated proficiency in programming, and statistics and/or machine learning. Experience with sequence data, genome-wide data sets (ChIPSeq, RNASeq,…) will be assets.
