Bioinformatician/Sequence Data Analyst open position at IGA Technology Services Srl, Udine (Italy)

IGA Technology Services SRL, spin-off of Institute of Applied Genomics of Udine, is seeking for a Bioinformatician/Data Analyst to manage and analyze Illumina next-generation sequencing data. The successful candidate will primarily be involved in processing large-scale DNA sequencing data in service for external customers and in building analysis pipelines for such data.

Requirements:
Experience in genomes analyses, not necessarily related to next generation sequencing
Knowledge of programming and scripting languages like Java, C++ and Perl (Bioperl)
Speaking Italian and/or English fluently
Availability to learn Italian language
Communication skills
Basic experience with molecular biology techniques and a previous employment in a private company as bioinformatician are advantages.
