The Cantone laboratory at the Department of Molecular Medicine and Medical Biotecnology (University Federico
II of Naples) is looking for a Postdoctoral candidate to join the group. The position is full-time for 1 year (renewable) to develop a project on the epigenetics of sex-bias in autoimmune diseases. To this, you will both use currently established bioinformatic pipelines and develop new ones.

Job description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated post-doctoral candidate with a background in bioinformatics, math, physics or engineering. Experience with programming (R, phyton, etc) is required. As a Pre-/Post doctoral fellow in our group, you will identify the chromatin and epigenetic factors contributing to the sex-bias in Multiple Sclerosis. The project is grounded on our preliminary single cell analyses and established functional assays.

Qualifications:
• MSc/PhD in a relevant discipline.
• A solution-oriented, organizational and positive mindset is essential.
• The ability to work in a highly collaborative environment as part of the team
• Good publication record
• Fluency in written and spoken English
