We invite expressions of interest for two research fellowship in Bioinformatics to be held at Istituto di Informatica e Telematica (IIT) of the Consiglio Nazionale delle
Ricerche (CNR) of Italy beginning in the year 2023 funded by the PNRR Project 'Tuscany Health Ecosystem'.

The awarding of the research fellowship is via the procedures of CNR public calls to be published shortly on the CNR web site.


A brief sketch of the relevant conditions is as follows.

Level: Research Fellowship (Assegni di Ricerca)

Duration: 2 years

Call : the call is expected to be issued in march/april 2023

Commencement: beginning in summer 2023

Salary: Gross salary for the first year is 19367 Euro, for second year 20500 Euro

Deadline for sending the expressions of interests: April 2023

Requirements: Laurea degree in areas related to bioinformatics (Informatics, Mathematics, Biology, Engineering)

General Themes: Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.

Specific Themes:

1) Development of computational methods for identification and characterization of genomic variants from sequencing data.
2) Developement of computational pipelines for supporting diagnosis and prognsosis for personalized medicine.
