The postdoc will contribute to developing computational methods and analysis pipelines for in-silico guided selection of antibodies and vaccines, based on #NGS data. Within the research goals of the lab (https://lescailab.unipv.it), this scientist will also contribute to the implementation of #deeplearning algorithms for the analysis of genomic sequences and variants, and participate to building a bioinformatics platform within the project (BioinfPharma Lab Network).
The Department of Biology and Biotechnology is a international and stimulating environment, at the University of Pavia, and this is a unique opportunity to participate to a forward-looking initiative, with significant impact in the development of immuno-therapies and pharmaceuticals (ex. nanobodies).
Funding for this post is available for three years.
