Research in Computer Science at Brunel is internationally recognised, Our research is ranked 3rd by discipline in the UK by performance ranking of scientific papers and 1st for average citations and H-index (NTU, 2020). Our department has particular strengths within the following research areas:

The successful appointee will hold a PhD in the relevant area. Have the potential to contribute high quality research that enhances at least one of above departmental research areas, through journal publication, research income generation and engagement with stakeholders. For one of our available roles the department particularly welcomes applicants who can contribute to further building our strengths in Computational Biology, including Bioinformatics, Computational Systems Biology and/or Computational Synthetic Biology.
