Our Unit is located in the IRCCS Istituto Giannina Gaslini, a National Public Children's Hospital and Research Institute, equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and technology platforms for genomics and proteomics investigations.
With the aim of promoting translational research and development of innovative strategies for precision medicine, the Institute recently opened an internal call for innovative research projects. Our unit is participating with a project focused on the development of an infrastructure to harmonize, integrate and analyze high-throughput data from different -omics technologies. Infrastructure will focus on the development of innovative targeted approaches for diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of paediatric patients.
The profile of the candidate will be part of the grant application, and if funded he/she will be selected for an initial 3-years fixed-term position.

Skills/expertise:
Master’s Degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science, informatics engineering, bioengineering with experience in the analysis of biological data, or in biology/biotechnology with postgraduate education in computational biology, bioinformatics, or informatics; familiar with Unix/Linux operating systems(Ubuntu Server/Centos); scripting/programming skills (R/Python/Bash/Javascript/SQL)
