4th edition of RNAseq data analysis workshop in Torino
by
11 March 2016

Course date: 12-14 April 2016

The event is divided in two parts:
i) A half day workshop, 12th April, 9:30-13:00, focusing on experimental design, library preparation and tips & tricks for a successful RNA-Seq experiment.
ii) A two and half day hands-on course on RNA-Seq data analysis (12th-14th April).

The course will drive you through the use of BaseSpace for gene/isoform/miRNA/non-coding RNA differential expression. The use of simple and intuitive online applications will provide you the basic for functional mining of differential expression analysis. The course will also cover the use of workflow for aberrant fusion transcripts, circular RNA detection.  The workshop and course is run by Illumina specialists and Prof. Raffale Calogero, who has many years experience in high-throughput technology courses.

You can participate in the half day RNA-Seq workshop or you can combine theoretical knowledge with practical training in the two and half day hands-on course on RNA-Seq data analysis.

Registration for the half day workshop will close on 1st April, max 50 participants. Booklet of the workshop is available at http://www6.unito.it/.RNAseqCourse/RNAseq_courses/booklet_halfday_RNAseq_2016.pdf
Registration for two and half day hands-on course will close on 1st April, max 20 participants. Booklet of the workshop is available at http://www6.unito.it/.RNAseqCourse/RNAseq_courses/booklet_intro_RNAseq_2016.pdf.
