We invite expressions of interest for a doctoral fellowship in Bioinformatics to be held with the University of Siena - Doctoral programme in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, in collaboration with Istituto di Informatica e Telematica of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) of Italy in the year 2018.

Candidates are expected to have knowledge of biology, functional genomics and programming in a UNIX/Linux environment. Previous experience with comparative genomics and genomics databases is a desirable asset.
