An introduction to single cell RNA-seq data analysis. This course aims to provide participants with theoretical and practical knowledge on how to perform bioinformatic analyses of scRNA-seq data using open-source software solutions. scRNA-seq analyses will be performed using the tools available as part of the Reproducible Bioinformatics Project: rCASC.
Positions are available in the context of a EU Horizon Europe funded Pilot Project on AI for Paediatric Oncology (cfr., UNICA4EU project).
Position as Postdoctoral Research Fellow available at the Department of Biomedical, Metabolic and Neurosciences, Centre of Regenerative Medicine “S. Ferrari”, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in the research group of Professor Rossella Manfredini. The work includes collaboration with national and international groups including the group of Doctor Francesco Ferrari at IFOM (Milan).
We are evaluating candidates for a postdoctoral position in the CNR-INGM joint laboratory of Dr. Chiara Lanzuolo on a Telethon-Cariplo funded project. Successful candidate will benefit from the possibility to work in close collaboration with computational biologists from the group of Dr. Francesco Ferrari (IFOM), taking part in scientific discussions on a day-to-day basis.
The modelling and investigation of complex system through graphs that integrate biological, biomedical and clinical data, represent a hot topic for the research community. Since the study of associations in a system-level scale has shown great potential, the use of networks has become a de-facto standard and the application fields span from molecular biology to connectome analysis.
