The Summer School on Multi-Omics Data Analysis for Microbial Ecology and Biotechnology will take place from 13–31 July 2026 at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in Leipzig, Germany.
Designed for Master’s students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists, the programme offers a combination of lectures and hands-on training in state-of-the-art approaches for the analysis of multi-omics data. Topics include genomics, metagenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, microbial genome reconstruction, data management, and machine learning applications in microbial research. This summer school is tuition-free.
The Summer School is organized by the UFZ Microbial Data Science group in collaboration with Leipzig University and associated research initiatives, welcoming participants from around the world.
