1st International Workshop on "Foundation of Network Analysis"-
Location
Date
6 - 9 December 2022
Deadline
10/10/2022
General Chairs
Marianna Milano, Giuseppe Agapito
We are organising the IEEE BIBM - FNA workshop aiming to bring together researchers, both from academy and industry, as well as practitioners and students to share and discuss ideas and results (even in first stage) about network science, and analysis to study biological and biomedical data.

We encourage the submission of short and long papers as well as posters (2-page formats). We are planning to invite all the contributions to a special issue of a SCOPUS indexed journal (advanced negotiations in progress).

Please feel free to forward this invite over to anyone you think might be interested, thank you.

The workshop and the special issue are seeking original research papers presenting applications of parallel and high-performance computing to biology and medicine. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• Network-based bioinformatics methods;

• Networks-based applications in computational biology, genomics, medicine, and healthcare;

• Graph representation learning for visualising and interpreting biological and biomedical data;

• Bioinformatics methods for network-based analysis and visualization;

• Network-based modelling and analysis of complex diseases;

• Complex network models for structure and function analysis;

• Network models in epidemiology;

• Next-generation network science;

• Artificial intelligence for network models of complex diseases;

• Networks Alignment;

• Complex Prediction;

• Network Embedding;

• Pathways Analysis;

• Interactomics databases;

• Pathways databases.
