One position in Bioinformatics is available in the lab of Dr. Maria Fousteri at BSRC ‘Alexander Fleming’ in the context of a GSRT-supported program (“Matching Funds”-PI: Dr M Fousteri approved by the 1685/12-2-2014 decision and co-financed by the European Union and National funds).

We are seeking for young, highly motivated candidates, who will work on the development of computational methods for the analysis and integration of Next Generation Sequencing data, focusing mostly on ChIP-Seq and RNA-Seq.

He/she will also be involved in various project data analysis procedures.
Candidates should have a master in bioinformatics and preferably possess strong computational and programming skills in at least two of the following: R, Perl, Python, Java, PHP.
Any background in statistics will be considered an asset.

The successful candidate will work closely with biologists and senior bioinformaticians in a highly interactive and multidisciplinary environment.
