Bioinformatics position in the laboratory of Inflammation and immunology in cardiovascular pathologies at Humanitas
 
Job Description:
 
We are looking for a highly motivated scientist with a strong interest in transcriptomics and epigenetics filed. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with biologists and will be in charge of developing computational and statistical methods to analyse and integrate next-generation sequencing data, including ChIP-Seq, Exome-Seq and RNA-Seq data
 
 
Main Activities:
 
-       Process and analyse high throughput DNA and RNA sequencing data from a NGS sequencing platform.
 
-       Develop, optimize and run NGS analysis pipeline and data management systems. 
 
 
 
The successful candidate will have at least a degree, and preferably a PhD or equivalent experience, in bioinformatics, mathematics, statistics, or in a biological science with substantial analytical components.
 
Applicants should be able to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary research team.
