The NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) at GSTFT and KCL delivers world class translational research to benefit the health and wealth of the nation. BRC supported research activities are span across eight outstanding research themes encompassing Cancer; Cardiovascular Disease; Cutaneous Medicine; Environmental and Respiratory Health; Imaging & Bio-Engineering; Infection & Immunity; translational Genetics; and Transplantation.

A position is currently available for a Scientific Software Developer with strong experience of biomedical scientific software development.

The post holder will join the GSTT BRC Bioinformatics Core, based at the Biomedical Research Centre of Guy's Hospital. They will be developing software for the management and analysis of molecular and clinical information and the advancement of translational research projects. They are expected to play a leading role in the design and development of analytical workflows as well as the development of software and database solutions to increase the connectivity and exchange of information between different groups and core facilities.
