One position for a PhD is available at Functional Genomics Lab at University of Verona (Italy). The PhD will be focused on computation biology and data analysis of next generation sequencing (NGS) data. The student will be involved of the implementation of data analysis methods for the characterization of genomes. 

The candidate should have good programming experience with scripting languages (R, Python, Perl...) and a good knowledge of UNIX shell environments.
