Job Description: We are seeking one motivated scientist to rebuild the genomics, epigenomics, and transcriptomics landscapes of a large collection of tumors. The successful candidate will be part of a team of researchers with extensive expertise in next-generation data analysis and in systems biology. He/she will be involved in the analysis of DNA-seq, RNA-seq, ChIP-seq data using available methods and in house developed pipelines. The successful candidate will also contribute to apply supervised and unsupervised approaches and theoretical modelling for the integration of these different types of data.
The candidate should hold a PhD in bioinformatics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, etc. and be independent in programming. The duration of the fellowship is one year with possibility of renewal. Salary will depend on experience.
Approximate starting date is the first months of 2013, but some flexibility can be agreed.
