The successful applicant for this position is going to work with the
analysis of next-generation sequencing data, specially on the analysis
of non-coding RNA in breast cancer. We are producing Illumina data from
breast cancer samples with the aim of identifying short and long ncRNAs
that could be associated with the disease. I am not a bioinformatician
myself but we have many experts in the department which means that the
candidate could get some support but most of the job will need to be
done by her. That will include data extraction as well as statistical
verification.
