Job Description
We are looking for a Computational Biologist that will interact with a strong IT department on campus, as well as external screening units in order to develop an IT pipeline for data sharing, and a web-based platform that will be accessible to internal and external collaborators. The primary scientific role of the Computational Biologist will be to utilize existing software, and develop custom-made algorithms in order to analyze and prioritize data generated during high throughput and high content screening campaigns.
For the position, expertise with Java, C and Python programming languages is highly desirable. Additional experience with bio-analytical tools for pathway analysis and the R statistical programming language is a distinct plus.
