Applications are invited for a Research Associate, Genomics Programming, to work in the UCL Genomics Bioinformatics group, optimising analytical workflows and data management strategies.
UCL is equipped with all major microarray and next-generation sequencing platforms and you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the resources and tools associated with the analysis of genomics data, with a particular focus on next-generation sequencing.
The post is funded for 12 months in the first instance and is available immediately.
Experience in the curation and management of genomics data is essential, ideally with next-generation sequencing data.
The successful candidate must have or be in the process of submitting a PhD and experience in a computational biology research environment.
