Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a degree-level qualification in the computational or biological sciences.

Profile:
The candidate will manage the computer cluster for bioinformatics purposes.The cluster has been deployed to serve genomics, proteomics and crystallography research groups. Familiarity with biological databases (such as GenBank, UniProt, UCSC Genome Browser) and common bioinformatic tools is mandatory.

A good Knowledge of Linux (CentOS)/UNIX (Solaris) environments is required, as well as good coding skills in one or more programming language among Perl, Python, C or C++. Knowledge of Sun Grid Engine or other batch queuing system is a plus.

Good communication, interpersonal and English skills are essential.
