We are seeking a talented bioinformatician to join a translational research team led by Dr. Loris De Cecco. Our research focuses on Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma, with the goal of identifying biomarkers associated with clinical outcomes. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team of biologists, computational researchers, and oncologists, applying AI-based approaches to achieve the clinical objectives of the project.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is independent, resourceful, and passionate about uncovering the biological mechanisms underlying bioinformatics data.
Essential requirements:
- A background in bioinformatics
- Proficiency in Python or R
- A Master's degree (LM-06) in Biology or Bioinformatics
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis
- Experience in single-cell RNA sequencing data analysis
- Knowledge of machine learning methods for network analysis and for correlating data with patient survival outcomes
