These positions require a highly motivated and skilled individual with at least three years of experience OR the title of Doctor of Research in:
- Analysis of second and/or third-generation sequencing data (also on single cell) with applications to at least two of the following areas: transcriptomics, epigenomics, genomics, pangenomics;
- Development of software packages and/or pipelines in R and/or Python environment;
- Use of machine learning techniques; implementation and parallelization of bioinformatics algorithms.

The selected candidate will collaborate with the activity Genome bioinformatics pipelines for GPU-based HPC infrastructures within the In Spoke 8 "Silico MEdicine and Omics data".
The work location is the Institute of Genetics and Biophysics in Naples (IGB-CNR), Italy.
The project will be in collaboration with the Institute for Applications of Calculus (IAC-CNR).
