The Fanciulli Lab is a multidisciplinary team, including molecular and computational biologists working closely with the clinicians of the Institute. We focus our research on deciphering the mechanisms of cancer progression and treatment resistance using innovative NGS technologies, mouse models and computational approaches, to understand the transcriptional players involved in driving course of the disease. We tackle cancer as a complex system and integrate data generated from patients, mouse models and cell lines.
The candidate will work on genomics data such as ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, WES and more from bulk or single cell. Initiative in proposing ideas and writing grants, will be strongly appreciated and supported.
The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in cancer biology and gene regulation. Candidates are expected to have a strong will to work in a highly multidisciplinary environment. Candidates should hold a degree in any biological discipline or computer science. Previous experience in the field of genomics is a plus. We invite applications from scientists at the pre- or post-doctoral level, providing adequate degrees of independence and mentorship.
