A challenging job connecting informatics to robotics and genomics. The candidate will be in charge of the final development of an innovative liquid handler in collaboration with Hamilton Robotics, a company world-leader in the field.

Following an agreement between the Dept. of Basic Medical Science, Neuroscience, and Sense Organs at the University of Bari Aldo Moro and a local biomedical software company, a PhD fellowship will be available in the Group of Psychiatric Neuroscience in the field of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics.

One PhD position will be awarded to work on a project coordinated by Professor Stefano Gustincich in collaboration with Remo Sanges to study transposons activity and polymorphisms in metazoan and their implication in the evolution of complexity and neurodegenerative diseases.
