The 22^nd Annual Conference of the Bioinformatics Italian Society will be held 27-29 May 2026 in Padua.

The conference aims to bring together the Italian bioinformatics community, discuss scientific topics of interest, and strengthen collaborations and network of expertise.

The conference program includes keynote talks by scientists, presentations of state-of-the-art research, selected oral presentations from attendees and poster sessions on the latest research progress of the BITS community.

The conference is not for BITS members only, and is open to anyone with an interest in connecting with the Bioinformatics Italian Society. 

To enrich this year's Conference, the second edition of the Biohackathon will take place on May 26-27.

The event will be held in Padova, May 27-29 2026 at Building 4 “Centro Linguistico di Ateneo”, Polo Multifunzionale di Psicologia, Via Venezia 14, Padova.
