Call for posters: GCB German Conference on Bioinformatics
Call for Posters and Highlight Papers
=============================================

GCB 2008: German Conference on Bioinformatics
http://www.gcb2008.de

Dresden, 9-12 September 2008

Poster/Highlight paper deadline: 1 August 2008

GCB invites the submission of posters and highlight papers
dedicated to all aspects of bioinformatics.
GCB will feature an exciting programme with the
key note speakers Michael Ashburner, Janusz Bujnicki, David Gilbert,
Trey Ideker, Jens Reich and Marino Zerial as well as regular papers, a poster track, a highlights track and tutorials on pathway analysis, image analysis, QTL analysis, and structure prediction. The conference language will be English.

The GCB invites posters and highlight papers:
=============================================

Highlights track: For the first time, there will be a highlights track
at GCB. We invite the submission of full papers that have been
published in the last year. Publications that are "in
press" and already linked on the journal web site are also welcome. A
group of experts will select the papers to be presented at the meeting
considering the impact of the work on the field, and the relevance to
the conference, in general.  Submissions must include a 250-word
abstract-like argument that explains how the submitted paper(s) suit
the goal of presenting highlights that impacted the field.

Poster Abstracts: Posters should present recent scientific work in any
of the areas specified above. Poster abstracts should not exceed 300
words in length including references. Abstracts of accepted posters
will be published in a separate abstract book.

Submissions will only be accepted electronically.  Submission will
open in April 2008. For details see http://www.gcb2008.de
