Postdoc and PhD Positions to Study Adult Progenitor Cell Differentiation: a Systems Approach.

Job Description: The group of molecular genetics of the University of Rome Tor Vergata is recruiting a highly motivated individual for a postdoctoral position. The successful candidate has a strong bioinformatic background and an interest in a system view of biological processes. He/she will be integrated in a multidisciplinary group and will be responsible for bioinformatic analysis of high-content/high throughput data obtained in the framework of an ERC program aimed at understanding and controlling adult stem cell differentiation. The ideal candidate should hold a PhD or a M.S. degree in Bioinformatics and a solid understanding of complex biological processes. Previous experience with analysis of genome wide expression experiments, analysis of high content siRNA screenings or pathway modeling is desirable. Excellent knowledge of English, good interpersonal and communication skills are required. Candidates should have less than five years post-doctoral experience.
