£31,778 - £38,441 per annum. Appointments are normally made to the bottom range of this scale.
Duties and Responsibilities

Applications are invited for a Research Associate to work with scientists within the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences to provide expertise in genome analysis for projects mostly in cardiovascular, neuroscience and cancer biology. 


 

 

UCL is equipped with all major microarray and next-generation sequencing platforms and you will be expected to provide expertise in analysis of data across these platforms, in particular in areas pertaining functional genomics (e.g. Chip-Seq, RNA-Seq and Medip-Seq). 


 

 

The post is funded for 12 months in the first instance and is available immediately.

Key Requirements

Experience in the analysis of genomics data is essential, ideally with next-generation sequencing data. 


 

 

The successful candidate must have or be in the process of submitting a PhD   and experience in a computational biology research environment.
