Postdoctoral positions in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology
Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately at the Center for Computational Medicine & Bioinformatics, Medical School, the University of Michigan. Highly motivated and creative postdoctoral candidates are sought to work on the projects including protein structure prediction, G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) structure modeling, protein-ligand docking, and drug screening.

Candidates with experience in following areas are encouraged to apply:

i) Protein structure prediction (threading, ab initio modeling and high-resolution structure refinement)
ii) Protein sequence and structure alignments
iii) Monte Carlo simulation
iv) Molecular dynamics simulation
v) Protein-protein & protein-ligand docking
vi) New drug design

Strong candidates with interest and background in other related areas are considered as well. The candidates are expected to work in Linux environment and be familiar with C/C++, Fortran, Perl (or Python).

To apply, please send your CV, a brief description of your research background and interest to Dr. Yang Zhang (Email: zhng [at] umich [dot] edu), Center for Computational Medicine & Bioinformatics, the University of Michigan, 100 Washtenaw Avenue, Ann Arbor, MI 48109-2218, USA.
