Skills / Experience required
Master’s Degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science, informatics engineering, or in biology/biotechnology with postgraduate education in computational biology, bioinformatics, or informatics;
Familiarity with Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) data analysis (reads alignment, data filtering, variant calling);
Programming languages (Bash scripting, R, Python);
Comfortable working in a Unix/Linux environment;
Experience with cloud computing also a plus.

Job Responsabilities
Development and maintenance of bioinformatics tools and pipelines to support the research activity, in particular on next generation sequencing (NGS) data;
Analysis of genomic data including whole exome, RNA-Seq, and genome-wide genotyping data
Structural variant data analysis and interpretation;
Integration of genetic, genomic and transcriptomic data;
Data presentation to and active collaboration with computational and bench scientists, clinicians and external collaborators.
