We are recruiting a highly motivated Postdoctoral fellow with a solid background in computational science to work in the new research institute of the Fondazione Pisana per la Scienza. The position is a unique opportunity to work on the analysis of next-generation genomics and proteomics data, as part of a multidisciplinary team investigating selected pathologies at the molecular level. The successful candidate will contribute to develop and apply computational methods to investigate cell state/activity alterations correlated to pathophysiological conditions. p

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics, computational/systems biology or related fields. Candidates should be highly independent, have a documented and strong track record in bioinformatics and computational tools to tackle biomedical research problems and a creative problem solving ability in identifying useful information in complex datasets.
