Applications are invited for a fully funded 3-year PhD position in "DISTRIBUTED AI FOR HEALTHCARE DATA" at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering, at the Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy. The studenship is associated to the H2020 project "BETTER: Better rEal-world healTh-daTa distributEd analytics Research platform". A selection process has been called for a 2-years Post-doc Fellowship, titled "Multimodal single-cell analysis of cancer" in the Laboratory of RNA & Disease Data Science, Department of Cellular, Computational and Integrative Biology - CIBIO, University of Trento (Italy).

The successful candidate will be trained in supporting our researchers by designing and implementing bioinformatics pipelines on high-performance computing (HPC) clusters and cloud platforms. Activities will include training in the development of Nextflow pipelines and their seamless integration into in-house or commercial servers.
