The Genomic Architecture of Cancer laboratory is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Computational Scientist to investigate the role of chromatin conformation in cancer.

This is a unique opportunity for bioinformaticians who are interested in elucidating the organization of human cancer with the most advanced technologies for spatial transcriptomics and genomics.

The position will be hosted at the Institute of Medical Genetics, University of Oldenburg. Our group uses multi-omic approaches to elucidate the molecular basis of several human pathologies. The PhD candidate will work in a research project directed to the identification of pathogenic gene variants associated to hereditary cancer predisposition using long read-based nanopore sequencing.
