RESEARCH ACTIVITY
Roberta Alfieri graduated in Medical Biotechnology and then she obtained the MS and PhD in Bioinformatics. She is bioinformatician at INGM, the National Institute of Molecular Genetics in Milan, Italy. She is currently involved in the analysis of high-throughput sequencing data in the field of immunological and cancer research. In the past, she worked within clinical research project in the field of virology and hepatocellular carcinoma. Moreover, she was directly involved in the implementation of mathematical models related to important biological processes (metabolism, cell cycle) and she implemented public biological databases. She is author of a dozen of peer-reviewed scientific publications.
