His research is currently mainly focused on computational modeling and simulation of complex biological systems.
Moreover, he works on the design of bioinformatics algorithms and workflows to analyze deep sequencing data (i.e. genomic, transcriptomic, and single-cell data), emphasizing reproducibility aspects.
