One position for a PhD is available at Centre for Functional Genomics at University of Verona (Italy). The PhD will be focused on computation biology and data analysis of next generation sequencing (NGS) data from Illumina and Ion Torrent platforms. The student will be involved of the implementation of data analysis methods for the characterization of transcriptomes.

The candidate should have good programming experience with scripting languages (R, Python, Perl...) and a good knowledge of UNIX shell environments.
