 due to unforeseen circumstances I have a short-termed opening for a molecular ecologist/data analyst/modeller as follows:

Microbial ecologist or computational biologist for a short term appointment (6 months) at Fondazione Edmund Mach, to be appointed and start as soon as possible (ideally before july).
All tertiary education levels are welcome (pre-doc and post-doc).

Prerequisites are:
- good English
- eligible to work in the EU in a very short timeframe
- willing and able to start in June 2012 (or A.S.A.P.)
- LINUX literate

Advantages are:
- background in molecular ecology
- background in microbial ecology
- background in genome assembly
